AI motion graphics in DaVinci Resolve
AI motion graphics in DaVinci Resolve means prompting kinetic type, a multi-element scene, a chart, or a camera-move explainer and dropping it on the timeline as a native clip. Motus is the plugin that does that.
What are AI motion graphics in DaVinci Resolve?
AI motion graphics in DaVinci Resolve are kinetic type, multi-element scenes, charts, camera-move explainers, and title sequences generated from a prompt and used as clips on the edit page. With Motus, those clips are native OGraf graphics, not rendered movie files.
Does Motus work inside DaVinci Resolve or in a separate app?
On Resolve Studio, Motus is a Workflow Integration panel inside Resolve. That is the supported path on Resolve 21.1+. A standalone Windows app plus Lua Motus Bridge exists for the free edition of Resolve 21.0.x; it is untested on free 21.1+.
Can I still edit AI-generated motion graphics?
Yes. Motus lets you change layers, copy, fonts, colour, size and position. Resolve can trim the clip and rewrite exposed text from the Inspector. Bigger motion changes are a new generation in chat.
