OGraf graphics vs rendered movies in Resolve
OGraf is an open EBU HTML graphics standard. Resolve 21 plays OGraf natively. Motus writes OGraf clips from a prompt. That is not a flattened MOV and not an ffmpeg render.
What is OGraf in DaVinci Resolve?
OGraf is an open EBU HTML graphics standard. DaVinci Resolve 21 added native support for OGraf packages. Motus writes OGraf clips from a prompt so you do not author the JSON by hand.
How is an OGraf clip different from a rendered MOV?
A rendered movie is flattened pixels. An OGraf clip is a live graphic Resolve drives as you scrub. Motus lets you still edit layers and type; exposed text can change from the Inspector.
Does Motus use ffmpeg like Claude Resolve?
No. The GitHub project Claude Resolve generates HTML and renders it frame-by-frame to ProRes with ffmpeg. Motus imports a native OGraf clip with no ffmpeg wait.
